McGill University
Human Genetics is at the forefront of academic medicine. In addition, its applicability to the management of individuals with, or at risk of, cancer has created the sub-specialty of clinical cancer genetics. Hereditary cancer has been a prominent area of research at McGill University in the last three decades, and breast and ovarian cancer continue to be the most important areas of our work in lessening the burden of cancer for women and their families.
